Less than two weeks to go!

I can't believe Michael and I will be leaving in two weeks for Rwanda.  It is a real privilege and amazing opportunity to be able to volunteer with CASIEF (Canadian Anesthesiologist's Society International Education Foundation) and the ASA-GHO (American Society of Anesthesiologists-Global Humanitarian Outreach).  We will be teaching the Rwandan anesthesiology residents and anesthesia techs, looking for ways to help improve anesthesia care, as well as working on developing new anesthesia projects for the future such as the SAFE-course in OB.

It is hard for me to believe that it has been almost a year since I last visited.  I have made many good friends over my past visits and look forward to seeing everyone.
